Anke Wichmann (Berlin, Germany) 32

Anke is rider with a lot of experience. She started her career with medals on the track as a junior. She is a dedicated team worker and known in the team as "mother hen" because it is her who never forgets a birthday and who always looks out for others. As well as being a top cyclist, she is also a qualified physiotherapist.

"I ride my bike because I started when I was 8 years old and I can't stop anymore. I love to ride for Team High Road because it is the best team in the world. I also get a feeling that we are a little family! That's really important for me. I feel good."
