Madeleine Sandig (Frankfurt, Germany) 24

Madeleine is new to the team in 2008. To her name she has a German National Title in the Points Race on the track and a European Time Trial Title. She is known as an excellent team worker and stage racer and her calm demeanor but strong determination she is an excellent addition to the team.

I come from a real cycling-family. My whole family rides bikes, even my mum and dad. I started with cycling when I was 8 years old and since that day I don't regret it. I like to meet new people, see the world and I like to do something that is special. Every year you have new goals and it is nice to achieve them... and if not - you work harder the next year. I can't explain it exactly, but I love this sport.
