Marco Pinotti (Osio Sotto, Italy) 32

Marco is a quiet man who is always happy. He is very focused and is very specific about training on and off the bike. He is mentally strong and he works hard on maintaining that. Everybody was delighted at his success is the Giro d'Italia in 2007 when he held the leaders Maglia Rosa for four days. He is a positive influence on his teammates and will be a mentor to his new Italian teammate Morris Possoni in 2008.

I love riding my bike because it keeps me in good physical shape, healthy and successful. Apart from hard training, riding a bike is a privileged point of view which allows you to have a deep look at the environment you ride in.

What drives me is to perform in the best possible way by paying attention to details of training, following a correct diet, resting and recovering appropriately. It is my desire to be a role model for all the young people who follow this sport.

I am a simple person with a rational mindset. Shy but curios and open minded.
