Kim Kirchen (Gonderange, Luxemburg) 30
After mediocre results in 2006 for many different reasons, the challenge for Kim and the team management in 2007 was to see if he could reach the potential which everybody knew he possessed. He did just that. With good results in California, Lugano and Chiasso he went on to finish 2nd in Tirreno Adriatico and rode well in all the classics and powered on to an amazing second place in the Tour of Switzerland before finishing a fantastic 7th place overall in Paris at the Tour de France. 2008 will be a year of confirmation for Kim Kirchen, but with his new confidence from this year, and the belief of all his team mates behind him, the question will be what can he achieve when he reaches his full potential.

It's great to be part of a "new team" and to have the possibility to change something in Cycling.
Last year I struggled with back injuries, but I have put that behind me. I believe the team's new training methods, including the gymnastics and core strength workouts, have given me a new lease on life.
