Greg Henderson (Dunedin, New Zealand) 32
Greg Henderson (New Zealand) 31 Greg is the comedian on the team - that's if you can even understand the kiwi slang he speaks. A talented sprinter and track rider, Greg has 17 New Zealand national track and road titles and eight World Cup track gold medals to his name. He spent quite a few years racing in the US with much success including a win in the Philadelphia International, before joining the ProTour for the first time in 2007. Inspiration and motivation comes from within. Fear of failure is one thing that gets me out training. Also the fear of letting down my team mates and team managers helps me keep my body and mind in great shape. I would hate someone working for me to turn up to work lazy so I will never do that myself. The thrill of winning or the desire to win and be the best is one of the major factors that gets me out on the road in the mornings.
