Teutenberg wins Central Valley Cycling Classic

High Road's Ina-Yoko Teutenberg won the Central Valley Cycling Classic in Fresno today taking the sprint out of a break of five.

After an aggressive start to the race with contstant attacks, Teutenberg took advantage of a gap she earned sprinting for a mid race prime. She immediately opened up the distance to the bunch and was eventually joined by four others for the remainder of the race.

The break was smooth with all riders working well together. Colavita had two in the break and led out the last lap and Teutenberg started the sprint out o the final corner holding off Brooke Miller (TIBCO) and Iona Wynter-Parks (Colavita) to take the win.

"I was pretty tired after a hard block of racing down under,"said Teutenberg, "so I'm pretty happy it worked out the way it did."
