The doping scandals of the past couple of years might have profoundly and negatively shaken the credibility of professional cycling, but they haven't rattled the faith of Bob Stapleton.
"Our belief," the owner and general manager of High Road Sports said recently from team headquarters in San Luis Obispo, "is in clean and fair sport ... (and) to win by fair means. ... Our goal is to be an exciting and competitive team.
"We are optimistic about our chances."
It should be an interesting ride.
