HTC-Columbia's Marco Pinotti became five-time Italian Time Trial Champion Sunday, capping off an impressive week of National Time Trial competition for the HTC-Columbia men's and women's teams.

"Mission accomplished," exclaimed Pinotti after the race in Treviso, Italy.  "I felt I was very strong and in great form thoughout the course, and now I am very happy to have the national title again."  

Of the seven National Time Trial victories achieved by the team this week, one of particular interest is that of 27-year-old American Evelyn Stevens who powered to win the US women's title.  "I  wasn't expecting the title in my first pro year," explained Stevens.  "But I feel great and I really couldn't be happier."

In all, HTC-Columbia claimed seven National Time Trial Victories: Judith Arndt [GER], Emilia Fahlin [SWE], Tony Martin [GER], Evelyn Stevens [USA], Frantisek Rabon [CZK], Marco Pinotti [ITA], Martin Velits [SVK]
