HTC-COLUMBIA'S HOSKING WINS AGAIN IN USA
June 18, 2010
HTC-Columbia's Chloe Hosking won for the second time in three days Friday in the Uptown Minneapolis criterium at the Nature Valley Grand Prix in Minnesota, USA. Thousands of spectators lined the .88-kilometer course through downtown Minneapolis to watch the HTC-Columbia women again deliver a strong result, including the Most Aggressive Rider jersey going to Kim Anderson and the stage win to nineteen-year-old Hosking.
"It is so awesome to win in front of such an amazing crowd" Hosking said afterward. "I love this race....and the whole team is part of this win, just as they were the day before yesterday."
"The team delivered a nice and spectacular performance, crowned with a win by Chloe!" added sport director Rene Wenzel. "Tomorrow is the first and only road race of the event, since Thursday's road race was cancelled due to tornados, and we will again seek to win the stage and possibly start thinking about the overall win."
