High Road Women Repeat

Team High Road Women took their second win in the Geelong Tour today in what was almost a repeat of Stage Two. Sprinters Ina-Yoko Teutenberg and Oenone Wood took first and second place in a bunch sprint after the team chased down a break within the last ten kilometres of racing and lead out the sprint. Yesterday it was Oenone who took the honours and Teutenberg who took second place. Teutenberg is happy with the way the team is racing. “The girls did another perfect lead-out and Oenone finished it off perfectly. Now we have to concentrate on Sunday,” when the women take part in the first round of the World Cup.
