"Who's that bird with Mark Cavendish?" someone joked, as he stepped from the podium onFriday afternoon and handed his bouquet to Cameron Diaz.  The 18th stage of the Tour de France had just ended and the pocket rocket from the Isle of Man was the talk of Bordeaux.  Some of the finist sprinters in history - Darrigade, Van Looy, Maertens, Vanderaerden, Zabel - have rasied their arms on the Quai Louis XVIII but nobody has ever made it look so easy.
